Bulambuli district National Resistance Movement (NRM) party has declared the suspension of all joint campaigns over continuous violence seen at different rallies.
This was revealed by Paulo Kimamati, the Bulambuli NRM district chairperson while speaking to our reporter this afternoon on Thursday, 10th July, 2025.
According to Kimamati, candidates are ferrying trucks of people from one area to another with the aim of disrupting the speeches of opponents and causing Chaos.
He says as a party, they have decided to suspend the campaigns and hold a meeting with all candidates and agree on terms and conditions before resuming.
Alex Burundo, one of the candidates for Bulambuli County MP seat expressed his happiness with the suspension saying this is going to help them reorganize before resumption.
He says it’s bad for someone to carry people from other areas.
