Juliana Kanyomozi Says Good Music Has Been the Secret Behind Her Long-Lasting Career

Date:

Singer Juliana Kanyomozi has explained her longevity in the music industry and how she has survived the wave that blows artists off the scene.

Juliana is one of the few artists who have found themselves at the center of controversy. One of the sagas that she was dragged into was when she first released her hit song ‘Sanyu Lyange’, a random gentleman came out claiming she had stolen his song.

This turned out not to be true, as the song was originally written by Sylver Kyagulanyi, and the accuser wanted to use her name and fame as a stepping stone to trend.

While many initially thought it was a stunt to promote the song, Juliana, during her appearance in her interview, addressed the issue, revealing that she had tried to live her drama-free life and do her own thing, but the saga still found her.

She emphasized that she doesn’t believe in stunts but only depends on her music to get the attention that she needs from the public.

Being one of the top vocalists and highly ranked female musicians, Juliana noted that she has been able to achieve her success solely from doing good music

“You just be doing your own thing, and personally, I try to do the right thing. I try to do what I love; I do not believe in stunts. Have seen people do stunts. I do not know how true it is, but personally, I just want to do good music because I feel it is enough. My success has come from just doing good music. I have never had to do a stunt to be heard or listened to. I wouldn’t even relate to the idea of someone having to do a stunt to be heard. That is how I have been able to stay within my space,” she said.
