Fast-rising musician Jowy Landa has revealed that she has her eyes on a Grammy Award nomination and remains hopeful she will earn it one day.
Jowy Landa made the revelation after being asked to give her take on Eddy Kenzo’s nomination under the Best African Performance category alongside Tyla, Ayra Star, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Davido, and Omah Lay.
Jowy Landa revealed that she was among the many artists who submitted their work for review. Mentioning her song selection, she noted that she had selected ‘Ex Twafuna Sente’ ft Vyroota and Sugar Mama ft. JPC Again.
She, however, didn’t receive the feedback she expected, leading her to believe her songs didn’t meet the board’s standards for a nomination.
Jowy Landa, however, vowed never to give up, pledging to submit again in the next edition of the prestigious awards.

I will try again next year, mark my words. I submitted, by the way. Among the songs that I gave in were Ex Twafuna Sente, Sugar Mama, but I think they didn’t meet their standards. But for the Grammy Awards, I will submit next year.
