Musician Jowy Landa, real name Joan Namugerwa, has given Sheebah Karungi her flowers, crowning her as the overall queen of the Uganda music industry.
Jowy revealed during one of her TV interviews that she chose to recognize Sheebah’s talent and contribution to the music industry.
She crowned herself the queen of the new generation and her fans’ favourite, but crowned Sheebah Karungi as the overall queen.
Everyone is a queen. It is a big world. I’ll not comment about anything else, but everyone is a queen in their own queendom, no bad vibes. I called myself the queen of the new generation, but Sheebah is the overall queen, the queen of us all.
Mid this year, fans witnessed a battle of words between Sheebah Karungi and Jowy Landa/Ava Peace. It started as a dispute over a song, and in no time, Jowy Landa was directly attacking Sheebah and her fanbase, calling them bedbugs in one interview.

The battle line was drawn with Sheebah’s camp accusing Jowy Landa and her aides of foul play and robbing their Queen of her song. They alleged that it was being fueled by Jeff Kiwa, who has been influential in both their careers.
