Rising musician Jowy Landa, born Joan Namugerwa, has revealed that she is not fit for marriage due to the strict rules.
While speaking about her love life, Jowy Landa explained why she is still unmarried and not willing to get into a committed relationship anytime soon.
In her reasoning, marriage comes with a lot of rules and regulations, yet she is not willing to give up her partying lifestyle to settle for someone who will police her around.
“I cannot handle marriage because men are so policed and strict. You can be in a mere relationship and inform your boyfriend that you want to party, and they starts acting up. They keep questioning and restricting you about your movements,” she said.
The 23-year-old singer further argued against a common notion that couples with strict partners do not cheat, explaining that locking up someone indoors cannot stop them from being unfaithful.
You cannot stop someone from cheating. Even if you lock me in the house, I will still cheat if I want to. Just let me go out, she revealed.
Jowy Landa also confessed to having an affair outside her relationship at one point in her life, and it made her believe that she could never settle for marriage.
