Uganda’s legendary musician Joseph Mayanja, also known as Jose Chameleone, has been admitted to Nakasero Hospital in Kampala, reportedly in critical condition.
According to a video making rounds on social media, the musician’s manager (Mutima Nkuuke) is seen escorting the musician to the hospital. At the same time, Chameleone appears to be in an unwell physical state.
It is worth recalling that the celebrated artist’s health first became a concern in 2023 when he was bedridden for several weeks due to an undisclosed illness.
Although he recovered and resumed his activities, this recent development has raised fresh concerns about his well-being. Fans and well-wishers nationwide have expressed their support and prayers for the singer.
