Leone Island Jose Chameleone has responded to claims that he is currently in detention following a huge fight between him and his current caretaker Juliet Zawedde.
Jose Chameleone expressed his frustration upon crossing paths with YouTuber Janie Namukasa’s video alleging that the singer had bitterly fallen out with Julie Zawedde before beating her up severely.
Janie Namukasa claimed that Jose Chameleone had been taken to prison and disguised that he was in hospital.
In a video shared on social media on the 18th, Chameleone who was lying in his hospital bed gave an update about his condition, confirming that he had been readmitted after his pancreas had started producing toxic enzymes that had to be extracted and was waiting for his surgery and in the meantime eating healthy.
He denied the allegations of his arrest, noting that he has not had any fights or disagreements with Juliet, saying the YouTuber was using his name to look for content.
“I do not know why Ugandans are bad-hearted. I’m here waiting for my surgery; I have not quarreled with anyone or had a disagreement with anyone, but someone is spreading false news.
I was hurt by the report and I’m encouraging people to stay away from misinformation. Things of putting each other down in the name of content. Such things might cause you problems,” Chameleone said.
Chameleone, however, thanked fans who were praying and wishing him well while giving a tour of his hospital room to confirm his words.
