John Blaq Reveals Why His Dream Collaboration With Rema Namakula Didn’t Happen

Date:

Singer John Blaq has opened up on his dream to work with vocalist Rema Namakula, whom he tags as a talented star.

In a TV interview, John Blaq revealed he had a song in the pipeline with Rema Namakula, but it ended up being tossed around. He claims a close friend approached him, saying there was an opportunity to work with the ‘Tikula’ hitmaker.

Having admired her musical skills for a very long time, John Blaq, excited by the opportunity, decided to seize it, but things didn’t go as planned. He insinuated they had begun working on the song, but in the end, they had to abandon it because of issues from Rema’s camp.

He explained that to this day, he has never received any feedback or a new plan for working on the song. John Blaq, however, has not given up hope, saying the right time will come for them to work together.

“Maybe Rema was not aware of the whole situation, but the person who did it was my friend, who told me there was an opportunity to work with Rema on a project. I was so excited to be working with Rema Namakula, but unfortunately, unresolved issues in production halted production. I waited, and I still haven’t received the song again, but no problem. I know everything has its own season because I’m a believer. We are still alive, and I pray that day comes and I get to work with her,” he said.

John Blaq described Rema as a talented artist, a good vocalist who has worked very hard and built her brand from the ground up.

“Any song that comes through, whether it’s an old song or something new, as long as I have worked with Rema Namakula, because she is a talented woman, a very good vocalist, and she has properly built her brand. I believe one day it will happen,” he said.
