Jamaican Dancehall Star Spice to Perform in Uganda After January 2026 Elections

Date:

Jamaican singer Spice, real name Grace Latoya Hamilton’s performance in Uganda rescheduled for after the elections that will kick off on 15 January 2026.

Spice was initially scheduled to perform in Kampala, Uganda, last year at the Africa One concert on 6 December 2025 at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

However, the event was dealt a heavy blow when the singer pulled out and announced on her social media that she would not be part of it.

This was followed by the event organizer’s official letter, which revealed that they were actively engaging with all relevant parties to clarify the situation.

This week, the event organizers gave an update, revealing that they had pushed it forward and that it is to go down after the forthcoming elections.
