Musician and radio personality Rickman Manrick has described the relationship with events host Sheilah Gashumba as strictly professional and nothing outside the business.
During his interview with Galaxy FM, Rickman was asked about the nature and status of their relationship. He confirmed that they always spoke occasionally, although he emphasized that it was strictly business that brought them together.
The singer opened up on the last time they had a conversation when one of his aides contacted him asking for Sheilah Gashumba’s number because he wanted her to be the host at his bar’s grand opening.
“I talk to her occasionally, and it depends on what it is about. Recently, someone wanted to open his bar on Good Friday and asked her to host it. They contacted me, and I talked to her. She told me her price tag, and I delivered the message. That is the relationship we have now. It is more of a business,” Rickman Manrick said.
In his initial interviews, Rickman has always given Sheilah Gashumba her flowers for the significant role she played in shaping his music career.
Rickman confessed that the events host had not only guided him but also motivated and shaped his direction toward platforms like Blankets and Wines.

She was one of his biggest supporters, and when asked whether he could still take on a gig if she approached him, Rickman was positive.
“Yes, I can do it. But I haven’t gotten a gig from her yet, but I think if it is there, I can, of course,” Rickman noted.
