Musician A Pass, real name Bagonza Alexander, has addressed the long-standing speculation that he competes with fellow artists, trying to outshine them.
While addressing the claims during a TikTok live broadcast, A Pass revealed he was not in competition with anyone else. Since the inception of his music career, he has noted that he has tried to be the best version of himself, not with the intention of going toe-to-toe with other artists.
He advised people with such a mentality to visit his YouTube channel to see how he makes his music, shoots his videos, and displays his mannerisms; then use that to determine whether any other artist is doing the same thing.
I didn’t come to the industry to compete with artists. From the time I started my career, I have been my only competition. I have only competed with myself because I’m too good and too different to compete with anyone.

Just analyse my content and tell me the artist you know that does the same thing. It is impossible; I’m a different human being, and the same goes for other people. There is no competition,” he cautioned.
