I Do Not Need a Hit Song to Stage a Concert – Cindy Sanyu

Date:

Dancehall singer Cindy Sanyu has revealed that she doesn’t need a hit song to stage a concert for her fans. Over the years, music enthusiasts had it that for a musician to stage a concert, they should have a hit song topping the charts.

Cindy, however, begs to differ, as she revealed that she is solely relying on her extensive catalog and brand name to command the audience.

The dancehall star, during an interview with Calvin The Entertainer, explained that she is at a point in her life when her name sells bigger than all her songs.

She revealed that music lovers would be willing to pay just to come and watch her perform because of the energetic performances she always puts up during all her performances.

“The music is just a bonus, but I do not necessarily need a hit to stage a show because my fans generally, and the audience that comes to watch my shows, just know whether they love me or not, they will have a good time.

That is why people pay at the end of the day. You do not have to like me, but when you come, I will give you a show. I will work for your money 100% until it is exhausted. I do not need a good song but a good performance, good sound, and that is it, you will experience me,”.
