Hon. Balaam calls for the immediate arrest of TikToker Chicken Chicken for Alleged Private video

Date:

Minister of State for Youth and Children Affairs, Balaam Barugahara, has called for the immediate arrest of TikToker and influencer Chicken Chicken for the alleged viral private video.

In a post on his X account, Hon. Balaam expressed his disgust towards the videos, emphasizing that they were immoral. He called upon the Uganda Police, demanding that Chicken, born Anthony Katongole, be picked up immediately for appropriate assessment and rehabilitation if needed.

“Enough is enough. The videos circulating from a man known as “Chicken Chicken” are unacceptable and damaging to our community. We call on the @PoliceUg to investigate, take lawful action, and ensure the person receives appropriate assessment and rehabilitation if needed. We cannot stand by while our country’s dignity is eroded. Protecting public morality and community wellbeing is non-negotiable,” Hon. Balaam posted.

Chicken Chicken has been the topic of discussion on social media for a couple of days now, following the circulation of private videos with users alleging it was him.

He, however, appeared on a two-hour live broadcast on his TikTok account, trying to convince his followers that he was not the man in the video.

He revealed that the videos belonged to another man named Shafik, and malicious people were tagging him in the clips to tarnish his name.
