Singer and actress Hellen Lukoma has called on parents to actively support their children’s talents, emphasizing the importance of encouragement in fostering self-esteem and confidence.

In a recent interview, Lukoma highlighted that when children are allowed to pursue their interests, it not only boosts their self-esteem but also enhances their public presence.

Lukoma stated, “I call upon parents to support their children’s talents and also help them participate in activities like fashion, modeling, and music.” She believes that engaging in such activities helps children avoid stagnation at home and stimulates their cognitive development.

The artist noted that talent can lead to lucrative opportunities, reinforcing the idea that nurturing children’s passions can have significant long-term benefits. “Career and talent pay off,” she added, underscoring the potential for success in creative fields.

In addition to her advocacy for parental support, Lukoma expressed optimism about the current state of the music industry, citing successful concerts and strong fan support as indicators of a thriving environment for artists.
