He has achieved so much: Kapeke praises Fik Fameica, rejects comparisons

Date:

Rising star Kepeke has responded to all music critics who have continuously compared him to rapper Fik Fameica.

During a media interview, Kapeke responded by telling fans that he was not on the same level as Fik Fameica. He revealed that the rapper was too talented and acknowledged his great achievements in the industry.

Kapeke is one of the most trending artists with top songs in the industry right now. He has dominated numerous countdowns and topped music charts, tapping into the young audience that artists like Fik Fameica have also appealed to.

Fic Fameica came onto the scene with a unique style of music and dance choreographies that appealed so much to the young audience.

As he evolved, he transitioned to a more established and mature style, shifting his appeal to a broader, older audience.

This transformation inadvertently created a gap in the youthful, high-energy space, one that rising star Kapeke quickly filled with hits like Swilili and Kaba.

Despite frequent comparisons between the two, Kapeke has nothing but respect for Fik Fameica. He acknowledges him as both a friend and a musical inspiration, especially appreciating their collaboration on the track Shuu.

“I’m not on Fik Fameica’s level. He has a lot of great music, and I’m also in my own lane. They shouldn’t try comparing me with him or even make me walk in his footsteps. That guy has achieved so much,” he said.
