Harmonize Warns Against Being Linked to Diamond Platnumz, Threatens Legal Action

Date:

Tanzanian singer Harmonize has issued a strong warning to people who always mention his name in connection with his former label mate, Diamond Platnumz.

In a video making the rounds on social media, Harmonize emphasized that he wouldn’t be going after Diamond Platnumz himself but intended to sue anyone who continuously linked his name.

Harmonize’s caution was triggered by Francis Majizzo, a social media sensation who claimed that Diamond Platnumz nurtured his career. Harmonize, who walked away from the WCB label years back, described the statement as unfair and misleading.

He revealed that he immediately called Majizzo to warn him and to issue a strong final warning.

Harmonize credited Diamond Platnumz for helping him out at the start of his career, but admitted that that chapter was closed way back and couldn’t be used to define his current status.

The continuous mentioning of his name in such a manner, he believes, is disrespectful to the work he has put into his growth and achievements.

I’m a big fish now; you can’t mention my name under him because he doesn’t deserve it. Yeah, he put me on the label at first, and I appreciated it, but he ended up asking for his money back. He even asked for more money, but now look at me, what am I doing? Where is the music label?

Harmonize, who now owns Konde Gang Label, accused Diamond Platnumz of working behind the scenes to sabotage his label by promising his artists he would never fulfill. All the legal back-and-forth in these cases cost him a lot of money.

I don’t want to keep talking about this thing, but that is why I don’t want my name dragged any further. he said.
