Hajat Kulthum defends Acram, hints at possible reunion

Date:

Hajat Kulthum has once again drawn public attention with recent remarks suggesting that she could easily overturn the divorce and return to her estranged husband, Acram Gumisiriza.

Kulthum last week announced the end of her marriage, emphasizing that she had involved religious leaders to take on the divorce proceedings. A few days later, her TikTok account sent out a lovely birthday message to Acram, leaving her followers confused about whether she was serious about the divorce.

During her media interview, Hajat Kulthum explained that their divorce didn’t mean that they were now enemies. She expressed her disappointment towards people who insulted him following the announcement, claiming that they were still friends.

She also called upon the public to respect her husband’s family, as the divorce has not yet been finalized.

“I can even wake up one morning and forgive him; you know how these things are. One of us might refuse to sign the papers or even thrown out of the mosque because of unconvincing reasons to divorce,” she said while laughing out loud.

Dr. Kulthum also blamed the media for playing a huge role in their breakup, specifically name-dropping blogger Jenkins, who he said falsely accused her husband of sexual assault of a mother and daughter in the US.
