Media personality and beloved Morning Xpress host on SanyuKa TV, Haffy Powers, has announced a temporary break from television following a recent foot injury.
Taking to her social media platforms, Haffy revealed that she suffered a fracture after slipping down a flight of stairs on Sunday morning.
In an emotional post, she shared videos showing the moments before and after undergoing surgery which she confirmed was successful.
One of the clips shows her being assisted in moving around, as the injury has left her unable to manage daily tasks without support. Despite the ordeal, Haffy remained optimistic, expressing gratitude that the situation wasn’t worse.
“Slipped off the stairs Sunday morning, I’ll be back on your screens in a while. Keep those prayers coming in excuse my typos, It was a fracture, but it could have been worse. Surgery was successful. Going to be off air for a while keep praying for me.”,she wrote.
Haffy confirmed she’ll be off-air as she focuses on a full recovery and thanked her fans for their continued love and support.
Her comment section quickly filled with encouraging messages and well-wishes from followers who wished her a speedy recovery.
