Singer Grace Khan’s close ally has come out to tell her fans that the singer promised to quit her addictions the moment she comes out of the rehabilitation centre where she is currently stuck over an unpaid bill.
Barbra, a family friend of Grace Khan, confirmed that the singer had been at the unknown facility for the past two months, and the bill had mounted to 6 million. While appearing on Sanyuka TV, Barbra revealed that they were seeking financial help to get her out because the bill was shooting up every night.
“I ask all artists and individuals to help us, plus Eddy Kenzo, the president of the Federation. Grace swears she has learned her lesson and even begs forgiveness from all those she offended. We ask you to help us get money to get her out,” he said.
Grace Khan has been in and out of rehab, and according to Barbra, she failed to tame her addictions to alcohol and substance abuse. Pr. Bugingo and Susan Makula were among the people who pushed her to get better, only for her to slide back into her old ways.
“What is disturbing her is the alcohol and the substance use. I was happy when she went to Pr. Bugingo, because I knew she had changed. But she failed to get born again at heart to quit such vices even when the family she had gone to is respectable,” she said.
