Musician Grace Khan, real name Grace Namuwulya, has come out to clarify rumors suggesting she has ditched secular music for gospel.
Grace Khan gave her fans and followers a special mini online concert, delivered in episodes in which she opened up about life in Christ and what she was up to, then excited them with a performance.
She went ahead and released a gospel song talking about what she had been through and how only God could change her life.
Her close connection with Pastors Bugingo and Susan Makula also led netzines to assume that she was making the big switch from secular to Christian-based music.
In a TV interview, however, she made it clear that she was not changing her musical style. Describing herself as a versatile singer, Grace Khan said she could efficiently juggle the two.

“Releasing gospel music doesn’t mean that I switched. I have a friend, and we are planning to do a love song. I’m a musician who inspires people through my music and also does gospel or anything that comes my way. I’m versatile, and my talent doesn’t discriminate. I want to make it clear to my fans out there that I have not switched to gospel but will sing anything,”
Grace Khan revealed that her new gospel release, ‘Lagila,’ was in celebration of her healing process. She has battled alcohol abuse that saw her in and out of rehab and feels she has embarked on a new life journey.
