Grace Khan Apologizes To Geoffrey Lutaaya For Disrupting His Concert

Date:

Songstress Grace Khan has opened up on how hard she is desperately fighting her addictions and struggles that have continuously soiled her image, especially on social media.

Recently, the vocalist was the topic of discussion on several social media platforms after a video surfaced depicting her visibly drunk and falling on Geoffrey Lutaaya’s dancers on stage.

This sparked significant criticism from netizens and among the people who called her out for her embarrassing behavior is fellow singer and friend Bettinah Namukasa.

Bettinah revealed that she has on numerous occasions had a conversation with Grace Khan, advising her to change her ways. Many times, she visited her home and after their heartfelt talk, she kept promising that she would change, only to appear in the media embarrassing herself again.

In an interview post the incident, Grace Khan genuinely acknowledged taking in Bettinah’s words of wisdom but revealed she has not given up on herself either. She noted that she is trying so hard to fight it but keeps relapsing.

“Maybe it’s true that my actions hurt her, but even my mother is doing so. She is not the only person feeling that way; Irene Namatovu and Geoffrey Lutaaya once told me the same thing. She is among the many genuine people including Carol Nantongo, Mary Bata and many others who are trying for me. But what you should know is that I’m trying so hard. Whatever you said about me is true but I’m also trying my best,” Grace Khan said.

Furthermore, Grace Khan issued an apology to those who were affected by her actions, particularly her parents and mentor Geoffrey Lutaaya.

Grace Khan expressed her nonchalant attitude towards critics, urging them to shift their focus to their families and those that matter in their lives.
