Gospel Singer Joy Osa Nabbanja Dies After Failed Brain Surgery

The Uganda gospel industry woke up to the sad news of the untimely death of a renowned gospel singer, Joy Osa Nabbanja.

According to reports surrounding Joy Osa’s death, she passed on after a while of grappling with health challenges associated with her brain.

Yesterday, she underwent a medical brain surgery; unfortunately, it turned out to be unsuccessful, leaving fans and family heartbroken.

Joy Osa gained recognition among music lovers for her uplifting gospel songs, including Sikyali Failure, Mulyato Mwali, and Binkolera, among others.

Her death has sparked significant sympathy, with fans expressing their condolences on social media, describing her as a Godly person with unmatched dreams of serving and preaching the word of God.

There will be a church service at Ebenezer Bunono at 4:00 PM, followed by her vigil in Mawugulu Canan estate at 6:00 PM.

Joy Osa Nabbanja will subsequently be laid to rest at her eternal home in Malawa village, Magola sub-county, Tororo District, on Tuesday at 4:00 pm.
