Gloria Bugie Unfazed by Critics, Hints at Upcoming Collaboration with David Lutalo

Date:

Singer Gloria Budgie, real name Gloria Busingye, has opened up on her position in the music industry, explaining that she was unbothered by critics.

Gloria Bugie, during her TV appearance, responded to claims that she is one of the most slandered artists in the industry, especially for her fashion sense. She revealed that her social media comment section was full of negative comments, but she paid them no mind.

She noted that her only focus was releasing music, and as long as she was not doing anything illegal, she would still give her fans the best of her, regardless of the criticism.

Bugie noted that the hateful comments were fueled not only by hatred but also by ignorance from people who were not up to speed with the current trends.

“I came determined; I joined music with a strong heart because I knew what I wanted.  So I cannot get disturbed by people’s comments because I don’t even know them. As long as I’m not breaking the law, I keep giving you my best; then the negativity has nothing on me. Ugandans are weird. If they do not understand something, they will trash it and look for ways of putting you down, and if they fail, they leave you alone,” she said.
