Fast-rising singer Gloria Bugie, real name Gloria Busingye, has spoken out about why she doesn’t collaborate with female musicians.
Since her breakthrough, Gloria Bugie has only worked with male artists, including John Blaq, Vyroota, T-Paul, and B2C Entertainment, with more to come. When asked why she hasn’t had the opportunity to hit the recording booth with fellow women, Bugie revealed that she had no reason to reach out to any of them.
She denied allegations of despising her fellow females, emphasizing that if any of them had any interest in working with her, they would have approached her first.
“I do not despise them. I do not know if they fear me. But even then, I have no reason to reach out to them. If they want to work with me, they should approach me. It is possible to work with women, though. It is just that I’m starting, but all that will happen. I’m just taking it step by step,” she revealed to Alpha Timez.
Regardless of the gender, Gloria Bugie revealed that she has never personally asked for a collaboration. All that she has had has been handled by her management, who she says know her musical style and go on to scout for the best person she would blend with.

“I have never approached any artist that I have worked with. It has all been handled by our management. My manager has never done it. He knows the music that we do, so he cannot just bring anyone who doesn’t match my energy,” she said.
