Singer Gift Ov Kaddo has shocked music lovers and event promoters alike after setting his price for anyone wishing to host his shows.
Gift Ov Kaddo, real name Gift Kyambadde, during his TV interview emphasized that he was not hungry to perform or stage his own concert. He noted that he was doing music at his own pace; however, if any promoters desired to book him for a solo concert, he was available but didn’t come cheap.
He revealed that he would charge 100 million to perform at Cricket Oval, 60 million to perform at Africana, and that if the promoter wanted the show to happen at Ham Stadium, he would accept a whopping 200 million to make an appearance.
Giving reasons for his high price tag, Gift Ov Kaddo revealed that he was super talented and had fans who had supported his music. Additionally, he admitted that he invested too much and also hustled a lot to move his music in an era where there was no social media.

I hustled for my music, moving from one station to another, from bar to bar, in an era when there was no social media. We went through sieves at radio stations to have our songs played. You are the wrong one if you do not know my journey in music and how far I have come. I won’t keep on begging them to support me, and besides, I don’t even want shows.
That is why I told promoters who wish toattend my shows to pay 100 million at Lugogo Cricket Oval. Those who choose Africana should pay 60 million, and if they opt for Ham Stadium, 200 million. If you feel I’m not worth this money, let me be where I am. I have not come to your doorstep to beg for food. If you want, continue flying with the foreign artists and pay them that money.
He, however, thanked producer Didi, who he said recognized his talent and picked him up for grooming.
