The European Union Ambassador to Uganda, His Excellency Jan Sadek, met with General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the Chief of Defence Forces of the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces (UPDF), this afternoon at the SFC Headquarters in Entebbe.
Their discussion centered on regional security matters of shared interest. General Kainerugaba expressed appreciation for Ambassador Sadek’s ongoing efforts to strengthen relations between Uganda and the European Union through regular engagements.
Ambassador Sadek lauded the UPDF’s significant role in promoting regional security and stability, assuring General Kainerugaba of the EU’s continued support and collaboration in addressing common challenges and advancing peace initiatives in the region.
