The 13th Galaxy FM ZZINA Awards (2025-26) brought together Uganda’s finest in music, entertainment, and sports for a night of glitz, glamour, and recognition. The event honored artists and personalities who have made remarkable contributions over the past year, celebrating both established stars and emerging talents.
Kapeke dominated the night, winning multiple awards, including Artist of the Year, Song of the Year for Kaba, Best Male Artist, and Best LugaFlow/Rap Artist, cementing his position as one of Uganda’s leading music stars.
Tracy Melon also had a standout year, taking home Best Female Artist, Breakthrough Artist, and Best Contemporary Urban Artist, signaling her rise in the music scene. Other notable winners included Karole Kasita, Sheebah Karungi, and Omega 256, who were recognized for their contributions in dancehall, afrobeats, and collaborations.
The awards also honored fans, producers, songwriters, and content creators. Sheebaholics were recognized as the Best Fans Team, Bassboi as Best Producer, Dokta Brain as Best Songwriter, and Mickey Seems 2Funny as Best Comedy Content Creator.

Sports and lifetime achievements were celebrated, with Jacob Kiplimo named Sports Personality of the Year and music legend Iryn Namubiru receiving the Legend Award.
