Police in Rukungiri District are investigating a fatal altercation involving a group of Rwandan nationals that resulted in the death of a 19-year-old woman.
The incident occurred at a local bar in Nyarushanje Sub-county, where the victim, Diana Wase, also a Rwandan national, had been working as a barmaid. Authorities say a dispute over a matchbox escalated into a violent confrontation between Wase and four colleagues—identified as Elikoze Zuwaheze (18), Mutesi Zane (17), Muhawenimana Kolodina (19), and Omutono Owase Pasikalina (19).
