Former John Blaq Manager Y Tud Pursues Own Music Career

Date:

Former talent manager Ivan Ssozi, better known in the entertainment world as Y Tud, is trading boardroom strategy for studio sessions as he returns to his first love, music.

Having previously worked with Ugandan sensation John Blaq, Bruno K, and Kabuye Ssemboga, Tud is no stranger to the inner workings of the industry. But now, he’s shifting gears, stepping into the spotlight with ambitions of becoming a globally recognized artist.

While his name might be new to some music fans, Y Tud is no rookie to the scene.

He’s already dabbled in the soundwaves with tracks like “Vibrate & Wyne”, which hint at his fusion of Afrobeat influences and urban storytelling.

Born and raised in Uganda, Tud’s musical journey began in his youth as part of a local boy band that contributed to the rise of what would later become the Swangz Avenue movement, one of East Africa’s most respected music stables.

Now based in Melbourne, Australia, Tud is ready to reintroduce himself, not as the man behind the stars, but as a star in his own right.

Armed with a fresh perspective, sharpened songwriting skills, and a hunger to evolve, he says this new chapter is about reinvention and authenticity.
