Renowned rapper Fik Fameica has laid to rest his mother, Jackline Nassimbwa, who breathed her last towards the end of last week.
Jackline Nassimbwa was grappling with health challenges linked to kidney failure and was rushed to Kibuli Muslim Hospital to save her life.
Unfortunately, despite specialized medical care, she lost the battle and was pronounced dead on the morning of 27th December 2025.
Her death was followed by several vigils, including one at the rapper’s home in Muyenga, before she was transferred to Luwero Kasana.
Ahead of her burial, a funeral service was held at St Ruth’s Church of Uganda, where mourners gathered to pray for the deceased’s soul to rest in peace.

Jackline Nassimbwa’s body was subsequently laid to rest at her ancestral burial grounds in Luwero Kasana amid tears from loved ones.
Following the burial, Fik Fameica expressed gratitude to fellow musicians for standing by him during this challenging time.
