A 72 year-old Australian national kissed death after an unknown goons raided his residence at Crown apartment in Lugonjo/Nakiwogo zone and clobbered him to unconscious.
The victim identified as Garry Christopher was left with severe injuries on the face and other body parts. The incident occurred on July 7,2025 and no attacker has so far been apprehended by police.
Garry who has lived in Crown apartment for the last decade was discovered unconscious in his rental apartment after his neighbors saw some blood flowing out of his house. They notified Entebbe police that in turn swung into action and took the old man to Palms medical center in Lugonjo zone, for medication.
His neighbors revealed that the old man no longer works and that it’s his son in Australia who pays his monthly rent charges.
His neighbors added that due to loneliness, he sometimes behaves like someone who is mentally ill.
Meanwhile, Police in Entebbe in conjunction with the office of Entebbe Division Internal Security Officer (Diso) have launched investigations into the matter.
