Gospel singer Levixone was reduced to tears as he appreciated producer Nessim Pan’s work, saying he is a very good and supportive friend who has never asked him for any money to work on his songs.
Levixone made the revelation during his 12-track P2:11 album at the just concluded listener’s party held last night at Naguru Skyz. It is here that he acknowledged several personalities’ contributions to his career, including the celebrated producer Nessim, born Isma Mukkuza.
Armed with a frame bearing words of appreciation for Nessim, Levixone couldn’t hold back the tears as he spoke highly of his friend and brother in Christ.
Amid the tear-jerking moment, Levixone revealed that, despite Nessim being one of the most expensive producers in East Africa, he had never asked him for any money, and that every time he offered to pay, the producer turned it down.
Look at him, he is a young boy and has nothing. It is not like he has a lot of money, but he doesn’t let me pay him. Please help me celebrate Nessim. He has produced my album.
I keep disturbing him; I went to Zambia, Morocco, Malawi, and South Africa, all while recording music and sending it to him. He always tells me to find new sounds so we can see what we can add. Thank you, my brother, and may God bless you. We will win together.

In the follow-up interview, Levixone revealed that he met Nessim when he was still a young man. He personally looked for him because he was his biggest fan and had named himself ‘Leviticus’, performing and dancing to his songs. Since then, he has loved him deeply and supported his career because he wants to share his friend’s journey to success.
He is willing to do any song at any time for free. Nessim loves me, supports me, produces my music, and if I say I have ever paid him a single coin, I would be lying and ungrateful. He has done most of the songs on the album, all for free.
