Eddy Kenzo Threatens to Sue Promoter Nobat Events Over Defamation Claims

Date:

Singer Eddy Kenzo has threatened to drag promoter Nobat Events to court over defaming his name before the media.

Nobat has been on a rampage the past weeks, calling out Eddy Kenzo and his wife, Hon. Nyamutoro, accusing them of selfishness. Following his numerous videos, he later claimed that the Big Talent boss was sending him threatening messages for speaking out.

Eddy Kenzo, while speaking to journalists, responded to Nobat’s allegations, terming them baseless and untrue. As a solution, he promised to take him to court to present the evidence of the accusations he said were ruining his name.

He needs to provide evidence. The good thing is that he said it, and it is on record. He will come to court to answer. You cannot come out and speak something like that, and we keep quiet. It has to go to court so that he can provide the evidence.

In his ranting, Nobat further alleged that Eddy Kenzo, as president of the Uganda National Musicians Federation, had mismanaged billions of dollars entrusted to him to help fellow artists.

He called him to be audited and to account for how he spent the funds. Eddy Kenzo maintained that the President of Uganda was satisfied with how the money had been handled and also appreciated him for the job well done with the federation.

But do you think the head of state can come and say something when he doesn’t have proof? Do you think the president can be on record without evidence? The president said the money was well handled, and we did a good job.
