Eddy Kenzo responds to Bebe Cool’s claims that he is not a global star

Date:

Eddy Kenzo has responded to Bebe Cool’s recent claims that he is not a global artist.

Bebe Cool during his recent interview with Kasuku, Bebe Cool asserted that Uganda has not yet produced any global artist.

When asked for his opinion about Eddy Kenzo, who released his ‘Sitya Loss’ that went viral across the globe, Bebe Cool emphasized that he would not consider him a global artist based on one hit song.

He revealed that to be considered a global artist, one had to have more than one international hit song, and this would only be achieved through consistency.

During an interview with Sanyuka TV, Eddy Kenzo snubbed Bebe Cool’s statement, insisting that he referred to himself as a global artist.

I do my work, and everyone has the liberty and choice to say what they want and view it from their own perspective. If he says, ‘I’m not global,’ he might be right because he doesn’t know that I am. And I’m not responsible for the fact that they do not know. It is not my responsibility to make them see the reality, he said.

Eddy Kenzo is one of Uganda’s biggest music exports, with a number of international awards, including BET and Nickelodeon, to his name.

With these achievements, Eddy Kenzo made it clear that he was unbothered by people who think otherwise when he has the evidence to back it up.

@sanyukatvug

The idea doesn’t work for me because the music industry doesn’t revolve around just two or three people. It’s broad, and government funding is meant to serve everyone.- Eddy Kenzo #SanyukaUnCut #SanyukaUpdates #FfeBannoDdala
