Dokta Brain Values Financial Recognition Over Public Credit

Date:

Songwriter and musician Dokta Brain has revealed that he has learned to find peace behind the scenes in the songwriting business as long as the artists he writes for pay him his dues.

Dokta Brain, while speaking to Sanyuka TV viewers, revealed that he has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry and has written songs that have topped charts, but he has no problem being behind the curtains without taking the credit.

As a songwriter, Dokta Brain has learnt that not everyone he writes songs for will appreciate him the way he wants. He has instead mastered the art of appreciating himself and also focusing on the financial contribution that his talent is bringing him. For as long as he is still in the songwriting business, he is content because of the money he gets from it.

“I think I need to appreciate myself because when I started writing for them, I did it for money to facilitate my own music. It later became a job. So, whether I’m appreciated or not, I do not mind. The most important thing is for me to put food on my table.

Dokta Brain, however, appreciated the artists who had recognized his contributions even when they did it quietly. He gave an example of artists like Crysto Panda, who, after holding his first concert, came up to him and gave him an undisclosed amount of money, thanking him for writing his song.

He also gave a special shoutout to Sham Love, who always buys him appreciation gifts from her numerous trips abroad.

“But those who have appreciated, big up on yourself. There are some people whom you can easily reach out to when you have a problem. I appreciate all of them,” he said.
