Desire Luzinda Unbothered By Criticism Ahead Of Wedding To Levixone: “Your Hate Won’t Break Me”

USA -based Ugandan gospel singer  Desire Luzinda has responded to criticism surrounding her upcoming marriage to fellow gospel musician Levixone, firmly stating that negative comments won’t shake her.

Speaking out this week, Luzinda addressed the ongoing speculation and online chatter, emphasizing that after over a decade in the public eye, she has grown accustomed to such scrutiny.

“Sometimes I see the criticism, but it’s the price you pay when you’re a public figure, this isn’t new to us  we’ve been in the spotlight for more than 10 years, and they’ve said it all. There’s nothing we haven’t heard. It’s all just background noise. We’re firm.”,she said.

Luzinda confirmed that the couple’s traditional introduction ceremony (Kwanjula) will take place on the 12th of this month, followed by their wedding on the 15th.

When asked why she chose to marry Levixone, she spoke fondly of his character and their long-standing friendship.

“I’m officially taking his name,he has been a loving and supportive presence in my life for a very long time. He’s different , I believe God chose him for me. He understands me, and I honestly think he was made for me.”,she revealed.

She added that the feeling is mutual, noting that Levixone has also expressed that his life has become better with her in it.
