His Eminence Dr. Sheikh Hafidh Muhammad Harunah Bukenya, the Second Deputy Mufti of Uganda, represented His Eminence Dr. Sheikh Shaban Ramadhan Mubaje, the Mufti of Uganda, as the Chief Guest at the first graduation ceremony of Uthuman Bin Affan Qur’an Memorization Centre in Nakalama, Iganga Town Council.
The ceremony celebrated the achievement of ten students who successfully memorized the Holy Qur’an.
In his address, Sheikh Bukenya expressed gratitude to the graduates, their parents, and teachers for their dedication and hard work.
He encouraged the graduates to serve as role models in their communities by living in accordance with the teachings of Islam as ordained by Almighty Allah in the Holy Qur’an.
The event was graced by Sheikh Imran Ssali, Secretary for Religious Affairs, Dr. Sheikh Muhammad Hussein Bbowa, Busoga Regional Assistant to the Mufti, and other prominent Sheikhs, among many others.
