David Lutalo shrugs off credit snubs for his songwriting contributions

Musician David Lutalo has revealed that he doesn’t care about fellow artists who do not give him credit for the songs he has written for them.

For the past 15 years, David Lutalo has been actively pursuing a career in music, earning him a spot at the pinnacle of the Uganda music industry.

Lutalo’s musical prowess, marked by singing and songwriting, has earned him praise from music lovers and fellow musicians alike.

He rarely speaks about songs he has written for other artists, citing that he does it as a hobby. During an interview with Sanyuka TV, he noted that he didn’t care if he was credited for his crafts, claiming he is not seeking attention.

“The fact that I do not seek attention, I do not care if you give me credit or not. It is not that I’m looking for a market to write for other people. When I die, they will pay tribute to me for that,” he said.

The songs I have written, if you don’t give me credit, it’s okay. I’m not after publicity.- David Lutalo #SanyukaTunnyuke #SanyukaUpdates #FfeBannoDdala
