David Lutalo Exposes Former Manager Over Fraud, Defends Sharing Personal Phone Number on TikTok Live

Date:

Da Hares singer and boss Davido Lutalo is crying foul over some of his former managers defrauding his fans using his name.

Over the weekend, Lutalo was the topic of discussion on social media after he appeared on a TikTok Live session, where he shared his number, inviting people seeking his services to contact him directly. This sparked a huge debate amongst netizens, who believed he was a big brand and couldn’t be giving out his personal number.

In his defense, David Lutalo explained that his fans who wanted to book him sought his contact information through his former management, and instead of giving them his personal number, they gave out their numbers despite no longer being part of his working team.

“There are many people stealing money from others using my name. There is a man I used to work with named Nasser who keeps giving out his number instead of mine, even when we don’t work together anymore. I have to keep reading that number so people know it’s me. They have stolen from many people,” David Lutalo said.

Speaking about giving out his personal number, David Lutalo explained that he did so after a fan asked for it to book him. He revealed that the outburst and criticism from fans and internet users was fueled by a malicious person who wanted his downfall.

“There is a person sending them, but I’m this close to exposing him. I will air out their names when I feel I’m ready. Want every foolish person to abuse me to the maximum. I have not yet got that one comment that triggers me, but the day they do that,” Lutalo said.
