Singer, producer, and songwriter Daddy Andre and fiance Sylvia Suubi over the weekend held their colorful introduction ceremony.
The couple’s ceremony follows their recent customary Kukyala celebration, during which Daddy Andre visited Sylvia’s parents to discuss issues related to their marriage and dowry.
The ceremony, held on 8 February 2026 in Busia, was graced by several notable figures, including Spice Diana, Ykee Benda, John Blaq, Elijah Kitaka, and Anet Nandujja.
John Blaq, Spice Diana, and Elijah Kitaka, among other musicians, performed at the event, demonstrating not only support for the Uganda music industry but also adding an extra layer of excitement for the attendees.
During the event, Daddy Andre delivered the required dowry to Sylvia’s parents and went on a bended knee to officially put a ring on Sylvia Suubi’s finger.

Sylvia Suubi is the young sister of politician Fiona Nakku, who is the National Female Workers’ Member of Parliament-elect for Uganda’s 12th Parliament (2026–2031).
