Kabale – Counsel Eliab Naturinda Mporera, the Ndorwa County West NRM flag bearer, has urged married couples to remain faithful to the vows they take, stressing that doing so is vital for the stability of families and communities.
Naturinda made the remarks today while speaking at the wedding reception of Kabale District Assistant RDC, Christmas Turyomurugyendo, and his wife, Penelope, held at Kirigime Guest House in Southern Division, Kabale Municipality.He noted that just as Turyomurugyendo is known for being faithful and trustworthy to his friends, he should extend the same values to his marriage to ensure stability at home.
Naturinda added that many friendships and marriages collapse because individuals fail to honor the vows they swear in church, instead diverting their attention to unnecessary distractions.
He further cautioned couples to work together and cooperate not only for the growth of their households but also for the development of their wider communities.
At the same function, Hon. Auntie Enid Origumisiriza, the Kabale District Woman MP NRM flag bearer, advised Crispus and Apophia to put God at the center of their marriage. She emphasized that since marriage was instituted by God, lasting unions must be grounded in faith and divine guidance for sustainability.
