Ugandan singer Rebecca Kukiriza, popularly known as Chosen Becky, is officially engaged and social media is buzzing with photos and videos capturing the heartwarming moment.
In a now-viral video, a man identified as Ssekajja Abdul is seen proposing to the singer at the beautifully decorated Springs and Petals venue in Kitende. Becky, beaming with joy, said “Yes” and proudly accepted the engagement ring.
Abdul has been a constant presence in Becky’s life for years, serving as her videographer, photographer, and driver.
Their strong friendship eventually blossomed into a romantic relationship a development that reportedly led to Becky’s split with her former partner, Dictator Amir.
The engagement took place on August 5, 2025, in an intimate ceremony themed in blue and white, attended by a few close friends and colleagues.
