Chosen Becky Breaks Down in Tears, Thanks Husband Ssekajja for Accepting Her and Her Five Children

Date:

Singer Chosen Becky has broken down in tears as she thanked her husband, Ssekajja Qadir, for taking her in with all her baggage.

Being a mother of five, Chosen Becky recalled the stereotyping that single mothers in her hometown had experienced to the point that no man wanted to marry them again. But the fact that Ssekajja agreed to take him in with all her children made her feel he deserved the credit.

When I had many children, I knew it was over because no one would take me. I only went to clubs to perform, but not to enjoy. But when my man found me, he took that way and told me I was beautiful.

Chosen Becky revealed that she had gone through a lot in her previous relationship, but would only open up about it after she celebrated a decade in her marriage.

As an artist, she said she went through pain but tried to keep up appearances before the public. With Ssekajja, however, she revealed that she had no reason to force life because he treated her well and genuinely made her happy.

Chosen Becky further expressed her gratitude to her husband for loving her children like his own. She noted that initially, they never knew what having a father felt like, but since he came into their lives, they have grown close and run to him as their safe place.

They didn’t have a father figure, but they call him dad now. I was shocked because all my life, my children have asked me for everything, but for the past four months, they have asked him for everything. I’m now like a picture before them because they tell him everything. I feel so happy because now I have a person who can hold my children accountable when they do something wrong.

Becky’s confessions were part of her thank-you message to everyone who supported them during their colorful introduction ceremony this week.
