Veteran singer Chagga Geoffrey’s concert hangs in the balance following last-minute challenges, leaving his fans in suspense.
The news of the possible cancellation was revealed by his manager, Sixteen Promotions, in a phone TV interview, where he said Chagga was both depressed and emotionally down because sponsors he thought would fund the show had all backed out.
“I think for the things concerning the show, I’m out. It might not happen at all because my artist is stressed and backing down. The people who were supposed to give him money have not done so.”
In his WhatsApp status, Chagga expressed his disappointment with the people he called friends for failing to back him, and he turned to God for help in this challenging situation.
The singer’s concert dubbed ‘Friends Of Chagga; Big Papa’ was meant to happen today at Kati Kati Gardens, Lugogo.
