Chagga Geoffrey Cancels Concert on D-Day, Cites Sabotage and Poor Support

Date:

Veteran singer Chagga Geoffrey is nursing disappointment over the lack of support ahead of his “Friends Of Chagga” concert, initially scheduled for November 1, 2025.

A few weeks back, Chagga announced that he would be celebrating his decades-old music career with a concert at Kati Kati Gardens in Kampala.

The singer initiated preparations for his big day and honed his craft through rehearsal to deliver a performance nothing short of exceptional.

To his dismay, however, the concert lacked support, despite the promised backing from fellow musicians and an alleged sabotage by his haters.

This prompted Chgga to call off the event on the D-day, citing a lack of financial support to facilitate service providers, such as sound and stage, among others.

A handful of Chagga’s ardent fans could be seen equipped with their tickets, only to be welcomed by an empty venue without any sign of the event.

According to reports coming from the singer’s music camp, he plans to reschedule the event, promising to communicate the agreed date in his subsequent communication.
