Bushoke Proposes To Juliet Zawedde Amid Jose Chameleone Controversy

Date:

Social media is abuzz with mixed reactions after Tanzanian singer Bushoke publicly proposed to Ugandan-American socialite Juliet Zawedde.

In a now-viral video, Bushoke is seen getting down on one knee, asking for Zawedde’s hand in marriage. To the delight of onlookers, she happily said “yes.”

The couple then celebrated the moment in an affectionate display surrounded by friends and well-wishers. Zawedde looked radiant and seemingly overwhelmed with joy many likened her to a fairytale princess who had finally met her prince charming.

However, the proposal has sparked confusion and speculation online due to Zawedde’s recent close ties with Ugandan music legend Dr. Jose Chameleone.

When Chameleone was seriously ill and airlifted to the U.S., it was Zawedde who cared for him during his recovery. Since her return to Uganda, the two have been nearly inseparable, often seen together in public acting affectionately.

Despite referring to each other as “besties,” fans have questioned the nature of their relationship, citing their PDA-filled appearances and even shared kisses.

Adding another layer of complexity, Bushoke and Chameleone have a long-standing friendship dating back to their mid-2000s collaboration on the hit song Mama Rhoda. With Zawedde now romantically linked to both artists, many online users are speculating whether she’s playing both sides or simply caught in a messy love triangle.

As for Bushoke’s proposal, it remains unclear whether it was heartfelt or simply a publicity stunt. One thing is certain: this love saga has social media hooked, and we’ll be following closely as more details unfold.
