Njeru Police is investigating circumstances under which one Mpanda, a security guard at Pyramid Security Company attached to GM sugar factory committed suicide.
It’s said the incident took place on the 06/07/025 at about 10:00am at Kabale -Nyenga division, Njeru municipality, Buikwe district.
According to reports, it’s alleged that Mpanda committed suicide by hanging himself in the rental room where he was staying.
SP Hellen Butoto, the Ssezibwa region spokesperson, SAY the deceased body was evacuated to Jinja regional referral hospital Mortuary as Inquiries are ongoing.
However, attempts to get a comment from the pyramid company bosses on phone were futile as they were unavailable to comment about the incident.
