Dancehall and former Firebase musician Bucha Man has hailed Mark Da Urban for his impressive talent, but branded him as unserious.
During his interview with Galaxy TV, the self-proclaimed Ghetto President revealed that Mark D Urban was one of his young people and a good dancehall artist. However, he revealed that he was not serious about his career, something he said had delayed his breakthrough.
Bucha further explained that when Mark Da Urban debuted on the scene, Ugandans had high hopes and gave him a chance. He, however, blew it when he didn’t give the best of what was expected of him, forcing them to shift their focus to some other artists.
“He is good but not serious. If he were, he would have had his breakthrough already because Ugandans had a lot of hope in him. No artist got people’s hopes higher than Mark Da Urban,” he said.
While many believe it is just not his time to be a star, Bucha Man believes that Mark Da Urban doesn’t have the anger and desire to become what they hoped he would.

“He is just not serious yet, and I believe he has not yet got the hunger for fame. He is my boy, and I know him, but he has not yet desired to become the other person we all expect him to be. That takes hunger and sacrifice. You can be a good artist but fail to become a star, and still people won’t know you,” he said
