Rwandan musician Bruce Melodie has shared his experience working with Ugandan artists, noting Pallaso as one who gave him a hard time.
Melody teamed up with Pallaso on a love song two years ago, and in a TV interview, Pallaso revealed that it was a hectic process to bring their collaboration to fruition. He confessed that Pallaso wrote several verses for different songs and recorded them all throughout the night.
Since they were all good, it became very hard for them to choose which particular verse or even song to go with, but fortunately, they settled for ‘Guwe Nze’, which Melody stressed that it was the perfect choice.
“Pallaso can record like the whole night and put like seven verses in the song, and everything sounds really good. Then I’d tell him to record only one verse because that is what we need. We recorded many songs, and it was very hard for us to choose which song to shoot. We finally came out with a song we did called,” he said.
When asked whether there were any other Ugandan artists he wanted to work with, Bruce Melody said his main focus at this point was female artists for a love song.
He rejected suggestions, emphasizing that he would collaborate with anyone as long as they had good music, since that was his focus at the moment.
