Quotes from Leadership

Dr. Twaha Ahmed Kasule, Director of the IUIU Kampala Campus, emphasized the university’s commitment to youth employability. “Our partnership with BrighterMonday is a natural synergy. IUIU’s academic mandate is to produce graduates ready for the job market, and this fair is the critical final step in that process, particularly for our students and the ambitious youth in the Eastern corridor. Hosting this launch at our campus underscores our belief that career opportunities must be accessible, diverse, and well-supported by academia. We look forward to welcoming the nation’s talent to our Main Campus in Mbale for the Fair itself.”

Ms. Imma Audrey Grace, Head of Learning and Development BrighterMonday Uganda, highlighted the strategic importance of decentralizing career opportunities. “Kampala is saturated, but the growth potential lies in regional hubs like Mbale. The Eastern Edition of the Career Fair is a direct investment in the regional economy. We are bringing over 40 top employers directly to the talent pool. This is not just a job fair; it is a full-scale skills development and networking event featuring CV clinics, mock interviews, and tailored workshops focusing on in-demand skills like data literacy and digital marketing.”[1]
